Gardner Douglas Sports Cars has long been using American muscle V8’s as standard fitment in our range of sports cars.
 In the search for even more power with greater drivability, less weight and far better fuel economy, 2002 brought on a development program to make the Gen 3 GM LS V8 a viable alternative. As a result, GD became the first specialist car manufacturer to successfully introduce the GMLS engines into the UK specialist car arena. And for GD production, these engines have now become the No1 choice for our customers, “a no brainer” as they say.
 Today, with a further 2 years production experience installing these impressive all alloy EFI engines into the GD427 and GDT70 models with standard fitment planned for forthcoming models, Gardner Douglas is now opening the doors with LSPower to offer a range of proven “plug and play” GM LS engine packages to suit the home builder or low volume manufacturer.

 Engine packages are available for both front and mid engine configurations with solutions for engine mountings, transmissions adapters, flywheels and clutches, fuel system, air induction, exhaust, catalysts, and “ready to go” ECU engine management with purpose designed wiring harnesses for easy installation and less head scratching!
Stock GM engines available range from the LS1, LS6 and current 6.0ltr. LS2. And for something very special we can now offer the latest limited production 7.0ltr LS7.
All engines meet current SVA emissions requirements.
Of particularly interest for racing and hard track day uses, these engines give massive power with consistent reliability meaning cheaper running costs with fewer rebuilds.
As part of our service we can supply engines built to specific application requirements with dry sump oil control, air induction, exhaust manifolds solutions, competition clutches etc. etc.
